* Flower creamy white to pink.
* Leaves branch from stems, not marked with pale triangles. Hairless,finely toothed.
* Height: 1-2'.

Natural History:
* Flowers May - October.
* Habitat: Fields, roadsides.
* Range: Throughout the United States.
* Introduced from Europe.

Connections!
* The word "clover" comes from the Latin clava, or club. The connection stems from the myth of Hercules, who had a three-part club that resembled a clover leaf. The club on decks of cards is shaped like a clover leaf for the same reason.
