* Range: Southeastern Canada, northeastern and north-central United States.

* Flowers in the genus Lysimachia have no nectar.
* In 1638, John Josselyn wrote in "An Account of Two Voyages
to New-England Made during the Years 1638, 1663" of a "yellow
Lysimachus of Virginia."
