WELCOME TO SCIENCE OUTREACH at Wellesley College

PLANT FBI: Wellesley
(For Budding Investigators co-sponsored programs

Plant FBI courses are co-sponsored by Wellesley College Botanical Gardens - Friends of Horticulture and Science Outreach. They are designed for children to explore science principals while learning about plants. Taught under the auspices of Wellesley College students and faculty, courses are on Saturdays at varied times of the year. Courses held during the summer session provide a mentoring and volunteering opportunity for students in the Wellesley College summer science research program and include a small monetary incentive.

The commitment varies: Planning and teaching require 5-10 hours per week including the actual 2 hour session. Students who volunteer to assist require a total of no more than 3 hours per week including the actual 2 hour session and can participate on a rolling basis.

More information on current courses will be posted as courses are finalized.
