* Habitat: Forests and forest margins.
* Range: Eastern United States to Minnesota
* Native.

Connections!
* The Cherokees used root tea made from the four-leaved milkweedas a laxative and a diuretic for kidney stones. They also crushed leaves and rubbed them on warts to remove them. However, the plant has been proven toxic.
