Glossary * Nota Bene: the terms listed here are defined in reference to and in the context of feminine discernment & restitution
Caring Labour - a term used to describe unpaid (and often unacknowledged) labour done at home, in relationships and in activities done out of caring. Competitive Consumerism - a new form of individuality that emerged in early 20th century that encouraged women and men to work more in the labour force in order to provide more material goods for their families. This phenomenon was propelled by strategic marketing campaigns and advertisments. Discernment - process of realising the part you have played in the problem, either being the oppressed or the oppressor, healing yourself, and then refining and redefininf yourself and that which you are doing. Restitution - process of acknowledging unhealthy parenting and relationship practices, and then healing yourself and those affected by those unhealthy practices.
