Most of these problems are pretty straightforward computational problems
finding gradients and directional derivatives. After we've talked further
about the material in 14.4 and 14.5 there'll be
some additional problems from these sections, problems that take advantage
of the specific information we'll have about what happens when we take the
directional derivative in the direction indicated by the gradient vector.
