This syllabus should be viewed as a work in progress, to which I will add detail (and possibly change detail) as the semester proceeds. You should consult this page fairly regularly.
 

General info on due dates

• HWK is assigned every Monday and Thursday.
  HWK assigned Monday is due that Thursday.
  HWK assigned Thursday is due the following Monday.
  
• Graded problem assignments will generally be announced at least a week before they are due. GP1A (the first stage of a project assignment for Chapter 12) is due Friday February 13.
• Quizzes will generally be take-home, closed-book, and due on Tuesdays. Quiz 1 will be due on Tuesday February 10.
• Expect two tests at dates announced a week in advance. The first test will probably be in early to mid-March, the second in late April.
• The final examination will be a self-scheduled closed-book exam during the December exam period. It will cover the entire course.
