The goal of this program is to provide an opportunity for underepresented female minority students from Framingham high school to directly observe and practice the application of the theoretical concepts they learn in their classes and better understand science research methodology through a mentorship program within the context of a professional science research environment. High school students are matched with a Wellesley student mentor who is engaged in ongoing research with a college faculty member in the computer sciences.
